Relaxed Mid Rise Slim Jeans

Good value bought in sale wouldn't pay full price true fit

I ordered these in regular and long length - I kept the long ones and turned up the hems an inch. I'm 5'7" - it's always difficult to find the perfect length. Fabric is good quality quite thick denim in a lovely soft chalky pink. The khaki green's a good shade too. I have a problem generally with M&S jeans sizing and overall, I'd say these are on the large side. Athough size 14 fits my hips etc, the waist is always huge. This pair measured 35" on the waist which seems disproportionately large. I don't have this issue with other brands.

This is the third pair I've bought. They are true to size with just the right amount of added stretch to make them a perfect fit and comfortable without looking like stretchy trousers. I got short leg which is fine for my 5' 3" frame. The style cut is made for those of us with curvy tummies and bums and does the job perfectly. Thankyou M&S

These were a great fit on the legs and hips. but like all M&S mid-rise jeans at the moment, they are far to high-waisted for me. Decided to return them because of this.

If you're sick of seeing skinny jeans everywhere (well, jealous really) because you are a pear shape, these are the ones to get, although the beige ones seem to come up a bit bigger than the green version, which I also have. Fabric is quite thick but with just the right amount of stretch. I wouldn't describe the legs as slim, (I wouldn't be able to fit my tree trunks into them if they were), they are tapered and remind me of the ones I used to wear in the 80s, when I was a size 8 (sigh!). Anyway, very pleased with these, bought several pairs in regular length even though I only reached the dizzying height of 5 feet tall, so I can wear them rolled up, chino-style for summer, or un-rolled for tucking into boots for the winter.

Bought the khaki as I already have a pale blue pair in this style and have found them very comfortable and a good fit. The sizing comes a little big, so size down if in doubt. Very stretchy material, which is quite thick. Roll down the turnups for a straight leg.

Just purchased in pink and khaki and very pleased - short size 16 perfect comfy fit for me at 5' 4' I love the colours for summer and the fact that they are Responsibly Sourced Cotton.

'Relaxed' and 'slim' don't really work as a combination - too big at waist and too narrow at ankle. Long are full length, not ankle grazer. Had to return.

Got the pink. Nice shade. I’m between a size 10 & 12 which can be a bit tricky. Got these in a 10. As they are meant to be a generous, relaxed fit, they are just what I am looking for. Very happy. Look equally good rolled up or down.

I liked the style and the colour. The fit was perfect. Having read previous reviews, I opted for the short length which, I read, was similar to the original medium length. I simply cannot see why M&S can’t find a length measurement that is standard. Short is short. Medium is medium. Long is long. I am 5ft 2ins with a preference for 31ins leg length. I can never order with confidence so I just won’t be ordering again. Obviously I returned these.

I love these jeans. The colour (Khaki) is super, a change from the various blue colours. I have worn them once and felt very comfortable in them. I am size 8 Petite and they are fine without needing to shorten them. Only one simple comment on the negative side - the ZIP! Is this a cheap and cheerful one? I don't actually like it but it works and does the job.

I was so happy with the first pair I purchased in beige I decided to buy two further pairs in white and a lovely soft pink. They are very comfortable and look great. I will be wearing these throughout the coming summer. Thank you M & S.

I love these jeans, they are so comfy and flattering. They do stretch a bit with wear, but as they are a relaxed fit, it doesn’t bother me. I love them so much, I bought both colours!
