Printed Long Nightdress

A very nice nightdress, though a bit on the large side. I read that someone found it too small so ordered the next size up, but now wish I had ordered my usual size. The armholes are very big so I shall take a small amount up on the shoulders. They no longer have this in my size so it should be OK when I have sorted out the shoulders. The problem with M & S is that their sizes are all over the place. Years ago I just knew my size in all their styles, probably because they were made in Britain.

Very nice to look at but check sizing as it comes in very big, which is normally OK for sleeping but even for me the arms flopped over my shoulders. Couldn't change as it was no longer available so planning to return

Material was very nice and good pattern. A very comfortable fit and a pleasure to sleep in. Washes up well. Pleased I made the decision to order it. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this as I seldom see this style of nightie in a pretty fabric. The nightie is a good fit but I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the fabric. I would pay more to get a better fabric.

There isn't a lot of choice with long nighties this is why I chose this one as I like bare arms, but my back covered, I would have preferred it in poly cotton as viscose needs ironing to look nice after washing and although I didnt return it, but found it too long for me, I know I'm not tall but haven't shortened them in the past, I needed to cut about 3 inches off, which obviously then needed sewing, a chore I could have done without ,it is quite pretty though. Can only assume that young women get taller every generation !

Need this nightie for medical operations in the near future. Love the style, pattern and most of all the material. Washed the nightdress, put in tumble dryer and no need to iron as any small creases dropped out with 30 mins. Wish I could find more in different patterns.

Purchased because it was bright. Fed up with pale pastel nightdresses. Have purchased similar style for years from M&S. Really didn't need a new nightdress but this I just had to grab, whilst it was available. I always buy a size 16 although I'm a 14. Hate feeling trussed up in the correct size. I may have to take some off the length of this though. It feels very soft and is comfy to wear, particularly over the last few VERY humid nights. Washed fine. Probably should have been ironed but had better things to do. Could we have some more nightdresses with bright colours please?

I’ve had a few of these nighties in different colours over the last couple of years. They do come up rather big and I could have gone down to a 10. Having said that it’s comfortable in the warm weather. They wash and iron very well.

This nightdress is a good length and fit for me, and the fabric feels nice. Just the thing for summer nights and holidays.

Felt very soft and floaty but unfortunately was very large, tried to exchange it for a smaller size but none in stock so item was returned

Great style, fabric pattern and length. Bought a size 14 and it is a perfect fit. It's rare to find long nighties that I want to buy so let's hope more like this are in the pipeline. Was intrigued by the cut out detail at the top as I couldn't see the point of it, and am considering sewing it up! Well done M&S.

Nice to find a good length nightie pretty colours too have not washed yet but my experience tells me it will wash well.I would like to see more long nighties in the future.

I bought this for a holiday sharing a house with other couples. I think it will be suitably modest as well as attractive and comfortable. Although the fabric creases, this is not too obvious even after wearing for several nights. Haven't washed it yet, nor seen how cool it will be on hot nights. I did have to partially stitch the extensive gap below the button at the front.
