PETITE Wool Blend Blazer

At just shy of £100, I consider this jacket a tad expensive. The fabric does look more polyester than wool (which it is.) However the fit on me is perfect and I am just so pleased to have found a jacket where I don't have to take up the sleeves. It is going to be very useful when the weather gets a little warmer and I can see myself teaming it with white jeans, different skirts and dresses.

Very disappointed as this blazer was soiled under the collar and looked as though someone had worn it several times before returning it. If I owned this blazer, I would be thinking of sending it to be dry cleaned. Sadly, ths is not the usual standard from M&S; and the £90 charge is not inexpensive. I had to travel to the post office to return, so I am, as you would expect, not pleased - just a waste of my time!

I first bought the size 12, my normal size, but found the sleeve to be very short, and the fit slightly small around the shoulders. So I ordered a size 14 and it was a perfect fit. It feels lovely, looks very smart. I am looking forward to wearing my new jacket out to dinner soon.

I would like to applaud M & S for finally starting to offer some better quality petite clothes aimed at not just the young. It is long overdue as there is a huge gap in the market for quality petite clothes for 30-60 year olds. I really wanted to like this blazer as the fabric was a nice quality. The sleeves were the right length for petites which is rare in my experience. However, the waist and button seemed to be far too low and so the chest gaped in a very unappealing way (and at 5' 3", I am a relatively long-bodied petite). This is such a shame. I don't know who the fit model was but they don't appear to be typical of petite women generally. If the waist/button had been in the right place this would have been a winner!

Pleased overall with this blazer. As a petite it was a change not to have to get the sleeves shortened as they were a perfect length. Definitely a summer blazer as too thin for spring. Well made, will definitely get a lot of wear out of this.

At last a wardrobe staple in a good quality fabric in a petite fit. Sleeves are correct length and waistline shaping is in the right place. The waist a little tight- most petites have slightly high waist to hip ratio than standard fit, but next size up would be too wide on the shoulders. As I am likely to wear it unbuttoned it will be ok. Please add more classic, good quality items to the petite range
