PETITE Padded Duvet Coat

Lovely coat but fitting is very big.

I was so excited when I found out that a petite size was available. Unfortunately when I tried the coat on, far from looking like a petite fit, I looked like I was wearing a duvet. If there's no shape in an item of clothing there's very little point in having a petite fitting. Otherwise the coat was good, nice and warm, good material and a good lenth. Very dissapointed.

I have read so many mixed reviews on this coat for both the petite and regular but I am in love with it. I am 5'2" and a regular size 10 and the coat is spot on. oversized (cause thats the style) fits me mid calf - just right, sleeves are the perfect length, unheard of normally, and I feel like I am walking around in a sleeping bag. This is going to become part of my actual body I wear it so much. Well done M&S.

Usually I am a size 10/12 so ordered the size 10. Coat is absolutely massive, and a size 8 would probably be a better fit. I am 5ft 1 and the length was mid shin, the length I was looking for.Unfortunately no stock available in a smaller size so will be returning.

Ordered size 14 petite and it was much to big could almost wrap it round me twice.

I’m 5ft 2in and ordered the petite to a store that had stock of the regular in this style to compare their size 14. I found that the back was tighter in the petite. I actually preferred the regular for the length as it came just above my ankles the petite came to mid length. Giving the duvet feel. I found the coat to be instantly warmer and I liked the storm cuffs. My issue with the coat was the tightness of the arms. The rest of the coat had an slightly oversize feel which is what I wanted but the arms were tight and with only wearing a cotton long sleeve there was no room for a jumper or more layers. I also felt the lining to be cheap and not reflective of the price. I returned it and the. The next day I got 20% off and still thought there were better ones on the market for similar or cheaper cost.
