Lovely coat nightmare zip

Lovely coat very warm although could have bought a size down. Elasticated cuff could be tighter. But the zip is a nightmare getting it aligned to close. I’ve ended up having to step in and out of it as I don’t have the time or patience to try to fasten it each time. If I had know I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Coat is very warm and cozy and a good length. I love the big hood that can close right round your face if you need it to. The sizing is quite generous but I didn’t mind it being slightly loose. The main problem that prevented me from giving 5 stars is the zip. It is really difficult to tie up if you are in a rush or already outside. I have to remember to take my time and zip up inside otherwise it could take ages and is quite frustrating if you are outside in the cold.

Not had many opportunities to wear as yet but when I did it was lovely and warm. It gave me freedom of movement too even with its longer length. Lovely cosy hood. Loved the inside pocket.

Poor zips
No, I don't recommend this
Nice warm jacket but the zip takes approximately 5 minutes to line it up exactly right before I can even begin to do the zip up. Other friends have tried with this jacket and they are exactly the same opinion. Cheap zips have been used. If they had poppers as well, at least the coat could be done up whe the zip did not work.

As other reviewers said, the double zip is hopeless. The only way I can deal with this is to leave the zip fastened and step out of coat. When I put it back on I have to climb into it and pull it up to my arms and fully zip up!! Unbelievably terrible zip.

The coat is lovely, really cosy, beautiful big hood which is lined with velvet. Comes up big so I sized down. However I returned it because of the zip! Such poor quality zip so it takes 5 minutes to do up…. Coat is such a great price but they should have put up the price to make it with a good quality zip!!!

The coat is lovely, just the right length and size to fit jumpers underneath when watching grandkids football on cold Sunday mornings. However, I have trouble with the zip, and had to start to zip it while not wearing it and climb into it. This hasn’t deterred me as it’s easy to do and hopefully I will eventually get used to it.
