If you’re looking to find a pair of boots for stylish events, totally buy them BUT because it was a hiking boot I didn’t think to read the details…this boot is not waterproof. Not even water resistant. Walking through tall wet grass my feet are so soaked and it’s going to make for a long day. I realize they aren’t advertised to be waterproof but generally if you’re hiking you run into wet situations. Not a good choice for actual hiking and outdoor activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and didn't need any breaking in. I took them to London in winter on a work trip as my only pair of shoes for the entire week. I didn't have rainy or snowy conditions but walked over 10,000 steps every day and on the last day hit more than 40,000 steps. My feet were not sore at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this boat for my mother, my mother lives in Erzurum, Turkey. There are very difficult winter conditions in Erzurum. The altitude is almost 2000 m and the temperature sometimes drops to -30 in winter. I bought columbia boots for my mother before, she was very pleased with them so I'm buying them again.
