I'd had my eye on this for a few months and managed to get this and the side unit in the sale, at 50% off I couldn't resist any longer despite not having seen it in store and the poor reviews. Needless to say we are delighted with it and the style/quality of build. We wanted something a little bit rustic looking and couldn't be happier with it. The edges are smooth with a few nicks to make it more authentic but it by no means looks damaged as a result! We think the 'classical' M&S buyer might expect something more traditional but this is modern and fresh! If in doubt - buy!

Distress marks unnecessary
No, I don't recommend this
Lovely furniture but the distressed finish makes it looks damaged so I will be returning.What a shame as this has been done intentionally to what would have otherwise been a lovely range.
