Mother of Pearl Cluster Diamanté Necklace

Rather disappointing and looks much nicer on the web page than in real life. In my opinion it is not up to the usual M&S standard. I bought this for a friend's birthday and she chose it herself from the web site, so I cannot return it or voice my personal opinion. The metal elements are tin-like and the main necklace is just beads. The mother of pearl disc is nice enough but the whole thing looks like something you would string together yourself, or pick up at a craft fair or flea market. Even the gift tag came with the label stuck at a wonky angle. It came in a plastic bag so I have had to put it into a nice gift box just to make it look a bit more presentable, but compared to the other jewellery I have had from M&S this piece is disappointing, although maybe passable for daytime casual wear.
