A quality winter duvet!

I’ve had this for a month now and got it just in time for winter to set in. It’s made such a difference to my comfort and warmth at night. Before this I was putting a older 10 and a 3.5 tog on over winter which was warm but so heavy and not so nice. This duvet has weight, but lightness too. I put off getting a good winter duvet for a couple of years now due to the price but now I’ve got it I’m so happy I spent the extra on a good duvet. Massive recommendation for winter warmth and comfort!

My previous duvet was 13.50 all season tog this duvet does not feel the same tog I would go as far to say it would be mor like 10 tog or less but as I’ve opened it can’t return very disappointed with m&s as I expected more quality given the cost

High % Down rather than feather quilt a winner.

I’ve always taken my Mother’s advice and stuck with a high percentage down, rather than feather quilt. A few years ago I bought a 4.5 Hungarian down quilt for Summer, which is light, but it is just too hot, so I tend to use it in Spring and early Autumn. I needed to renew by Winter quilt and have purchased a 13.5 Duck down quilt and I slept really well at night temperatures of below 4c, but it’s a bit too warm at night temperatures of 12! Wondering if I should have bought a 10 tog?? Time will tell. Anyways I will always advise more down than feather.

Lightweight, no smell and quiet. But its very thin and sparse filling for the price i would expect better quality. This is very little content and not very warm even though suppto be a 13 tog
