Lucia Tall Lantern

My first lantern fell to pieces when I opened box...the door dropped off it and glass was crumbling. Returned to store and reordered...second in similar condition. Simply didn’t even seem like something from M&S. I’m really disappointed that I wasted time ordering twice...picked up and returned-twice. Do not buy this lantern.

Very pleased with my purchase got the Lucia small lantern to go with it they look great together. It is quite a large lantern with a good weight to it. Got it when home event was on so a good price in my opinion.

Ordered one of these lanterns in copper. Love the look of it. I had intended to place it in my hall with an led candle in it. Mine however arrived with numerous marks on the glass, that wouldn’t come off with cleaning. As I had bought it during the home event, with a discount, it is extremely good value. Unfortunately it is now out of stock everywhere. I’m hanging on to mine, in the hope that they come back in stock before the deadline to return.

I really like this lantern. I have seen other lanterns of similar design but was put off by reviews. I went for the black as it suits my fire surround and perhaps the lantern is not as black as I might have liked but it tones in well. The latch for opening and closing the door is maybe a little fragile........time will tell. I have a flameless candle in mine and that allows you to have a taller candle than the size advised. I bought mine with 20% off which makes it a more acceptable price. Full price is I think too expensive and Marks & Spencer need to be mindful of what else is out there. All in all I'd recommend this lantern if you can get it as I did with 20% off!
