Yes, I recommend this
My daughter is 4 but enjoyed making this under my supervision. The set is split into two bags, which meant we could split the build experience up. Some of the bits are fiddly for a child, but my daughter was engaged throughout. It was a robust set and the mini characters meant plenty of play opportunities after. She particularly loved the water slide and turtle.

She is 7 years old and she finished this in about 30mins. She says her favorite part is the lock and key and now she wants the rest of the sets she saw in the book lol
