Leather Reversible Mini Skirt

Not very substantial strip of leather. I was expecting something a little heavier so it would hang better. Fine for smaller sizes but not if you have curves to cover up!

I was looking for a nice leather skirt when I found this one. At first I was put off slightly by the price, as I have never paid anything near to this for a skirt. However I decided to take a chance. I am really glad that I did, the material is very nice and soft, and it is a big bonus as it is reversible. I am 5ft 10' and I was a little worried that it might be a little bit too short for me. But it comes above my knee and about mid thigh. It is a perfect fit and just what I hoped for. It is very versatile and can be worn for evenings out , or for working in the office. Either way round, black or navy it looks great worn with opaque tights. I absolutely love this skirt. I would buy another one in different colours as it is so nice and so versatile.

Unfortunately when I had my 20% off vouchers there wasn’t size 10 left. Going by previous reviews I thought the 8 would be too small but ordered it on the off chance as I have size 10 Autograph trousers which are now a bit big for me. However the 8 was too small which was disappointing as the style is really nice and the quality really good. I’m only 5ft and the length was fine especially if I had been wearing it with heels. Looks like this skirt is now being discontinued which is a shame as it’s a style that I don’t think would go out of fashion for some time.

This skirt was just what I wanted. Right length, good fit (the 10 was out of stock but the 12 is perfect) and soft leather. The reverse colour is a bonus. So good to see M&S stocking good quality classics again.

I’ve been looking for a good quality A line leather skirt for so long. I spotted this on an instagrammers account. I didn’t get how it was reversible as it wasn’t in any reviews or on the info ! It’s black with pockets one side, and navy blue without pockets the other side. The navy will be perfect in the spring / summer too with a Breton t shirt. I’ve worn it once and it’s gorgeous. It also clear that it will improve with each wear. The leather is a beautiful buttery soft leather. It doesn’t add any bulk. It’s very flattering. I’m a size 10 and 5” 4. It’s still the same length as on the model on me. Still mini but not too mini ! It’s pricey but a total investment piece that will last forever and is a classic design. You also get 2 skirts in one.

I tried Size 12, too small and a 14 big on the hips. Had it been in store I could have tried a few on. Sadly had to return.
