[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hoped that sole could be softer to walk. However, there are other shoe features that convinced me to keep them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like walking on foam. Can't be more comfortable. A brief test today on wet angular rocks -- traction excellent, no slipping at all.

Great stability and cushioning
Originally posted on columbia.com
Been wearing these for one month+. So far they’re outstanding. My dog and I do 3.5-4 miles a day and in colder weather my favorite shoes are Columbia so I thought I would try these out. I have flat feet and I wear custom orthotics in all my shoes so I’m very picky. The Konos have great stability, super cushioning I have yet to come home with wet socks. Thinking about another pair since they’re on sale.

Comfortable Shoe

I have been using the Konos TRS OutDry for a few weeks for light hiking to rocky terrain, I also use it for everyday activities and so far I am very satisfied. First impressions when wearing it soft and immediately comfortable, almost no break-in time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my second pair of these shoes. I like the first pair so much that I wear when I go hiking, I bought a second pair to wear while I'm at work. They feel great and for hiking they are phenomenal. I like the waterproofing as well. I highly recommend these shoes.

Waterproof running shoe with hiking tread

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are sweet. I had to check the description multiple times to confirm that they're water proof, because they're so light, and they feel more like my running shoes than any hiking shoes I've ever owned. So to have essentially a waterproof running shoe with aggressive tread is perfect. They have great support for hiking and trail running.

Perfect for travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for a pair of shoes I could take for travel and be good in all conditions. These are great, they are light weight and required no break-in period. Kept my feet dry on rainy occasions while not being too hot. Traction was excellent on a variety of wet surfaces. Only indoors did I find them a bit squeaky but that depends on the flooring itself. I have high arches and these were fine I also appreciate the stability and cushion they provide. The bottoms of my feet never hurt. Finally I do appreciate laces that stay tied until you’re ready to take them off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shoes are nice, have a different odor to them. Seems they will need to be broken in but besides the smell I would recommend,. probably just my luck on that?

Not actually waterproof.

No, I don't recommend this
I've been wearing these shoes for about 3 months and the waterproofing no longer works. I was walking in the rain yesterday for about 2.5 hours and the inside front of the shoes were soaked. I'm not sure it's a product defect because both left and right shoes were soaking inside. I think the water may be coming through the mesh on top of the shoe, but I could be wrong. The back of the shoes were fine because I was wearing pants that shielded the shoes from the rain. I think Columbia should market these shoes as water-resistant, not waterproof. My leather Rockport shoes perform better in the rain even though they make no claims about being waterproof or water-resistant. I think Columbia should re-design this shoe so that the front is solid instead of mesh and put the breathable sections of the shoe further back where pants would normally keep rain away from the shoe.
