Mercerized Long Sleeve Shirt

This is going to be a favourite, it’s a good colour and a great fit.

... in cut, fabric & style but unfortunately the colour didn’t work for me. Plain old navy felt - well, just boring M&S; sorry! I’d hazard a guess if it were reprised in some wacky 1970s prints in modern colours like choc brown & turquoise or orange, magenta pink with navy or even lime green with purple it’d sell like hot cakes! C’mon - be BRAVE! Xx

Fits and hangs really well

I've just bought the navy as I was looking for a navy top with to go with block colour skirt with navy in it. I was looking at the other reviews and I'm quite surprised at how positive they are! I bought a silver grey jersey shirt from M&S a couple of years ago for about the same price and it is a lovely thick material. This one is very fine and flimsy and I didn't think really worth the price charged, However I needed a navy top and this fitted the bill and I've got the 20% discount so I bought it. The cream one looks nice online but I would be very wary as I'm sure it must be see through as it is so fine, although I haven't actually seen it to comment. It's a nice shirt as long as you realise that it's quite a thin, fine material.

nice soft fabric, good fit, would like more colours ... I like the soft narrow collar and no cuffs is good t oo. reasonable price. So pleased to see M&S using better quality fabrics without increasing price

I have been looking for a jersey shirt as a change from the usual cotton shirts I wear for work and at last I found one. It is really nice and a bit sexier than the cotton. I would really love a black one M&S! I would buy the navy but it has white buttons. Why does M&S ALWAYS pit white buttons on navy shirts of any fabric? More colours please, especially black

I love thin jersey tops to go underneath jumpers. I usually wear a thermal layer underneath too but even with this, I'd say this came up large - there's plenty of room in the body and it's fully hip length. It would be more flattering a little bit shorter and more fitted. Please could they have a proper stand up collar too, which would make them smarter. Otherwise very useful, nice silky fabric and a lovely subtle cream colour. I'd also like this in white, pale blue etc as a fine, quite fitted layer to go underneath a suit jacket. Well done M&S.

Love this Jersey Shirt, its sleeves are fine enough to wear under coat/cardigan or by itself. Dislike bulky sleeves.

I've been looking for a jersey collared shirt for ages, so this was a find, would like a white one. Lovely and soft to wear, easy to wash. M & S sold 3/4 sleeved, collared polo shirts many years ago in assorted plain colours and this has been the closest since then.

Nice material, would look smart with jeans. Unfortunately, far too long in body and sleeves. Surely no one has arms that long! Had to be returned.

The jersey material and contrast buttons means this feels like part-cardi / part shirt. I wouldn't wear it as a smart shirt, but as casual and at sale prices it's really good. The bright blue is a great colour.

Really nice shirt, drapes well and will be a wardrobe staple.
