Looks good quality but a tight fitting

The Regatta Holcombe looks to be a smart, well made shoe but for me it is too tight across the top between my arch and toes. Oddly it is on only one foot, the opposite foot to the one that usually feels tighter, I guess that can be because feet aren't exactly the same. I expect that another pair, even in the same size fitting, may not have this problem because there's probably some small variation with sizing in the manufacturing process. I expect it will prove a good shoe for most people but it is too uncomfortable for me.

Solid shoes, but not very comfortable, it’s too stiff and feels heavy, I’ve been getting pain in my ankle and feet after I wear these shoes. It’s shame, I wasn’t expecting this as it’s a very good quality shoes. ☹️

Bought these because my wife and myself do a lot of walking. Wore them once and they nearly crippled me. The toes of these shoes are too narrow, badly designed and before you ask I do not need a bigger size, I've always took the same size 9 !
