GT-1000 14 Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had about 10 pairs of Asics gt 1000 shoes, but this is by far the worst so far. The internal support is not noticeable at all, and my knee started hurting after just the first two runs in them. They’re too soft and not responsive at all. The new sole is too wide, and I kept stumbling during runs. The upper doesn’t hold the foot in place properly—my foot moved around a lot while running. It’s a shame that such a good shoe was ruined like this and sacrificed on the altar of cost-cutting. I don’t understand why Asics doesn’t keep the older design available alongside the new versions.

Really great training shoes. Comfortable from the 1st time I wore them so am very pleased with my purchase.

Only worn them 3 times and have done 5km in them on each occasion. They're comfortable and supportive. Ordered 1 size up as you should do in running trainers.

I am size 7 but did buy 71/2 & they are just tight , super fit very comfortable straight out of box, non slip just what I was looking for. Even better as in sale. My second pair of ASICs will only buy this brand now as just sooo comfortable

Very comfortable trainers, I was pleasantly surprised. I wore them to the gym straight away, no need to break them in they were so comfortable. More expensive than I would usually pay but once I’d tried them in I knew I had to keep them. Been hunting for ages to find a pair for the gym and classes. Suitable for gentle gym and running, probably not suitable for heavy weight lifting due to support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect shoes, simple and without exaggeration. They are comfortable for both long walks and light running. They are also perfect for someone who walks and stands a lot in their job. I have tried various more advanced models but always went back to my G-1000. They are modern classics!
