Was looking for a replacement for my M&S boyfriend jeans…the new version of those is an awful shape on me (why do they keep changing something that works). As a 52 year old curvy but short waisted lady it seems hard to find a mid rise. These have enough give to be comfy around my tummy but not too baggy to be unflattering. I started with a 16 which I often am but downsized to 14…so glad I did as they have a fair amount of give.

Size 18 and they fit perfectly although I'm surprised the length is a bit on the short side (ordered regular) and I'm 5' 3" depending on which way the wind blows. Still this is not a problem as I can wear with the turn ups down. Which I would do anyway.

Girlfriend Jeans are very nice quality but the size 12 I purchased is a little loose on my hips. No point buying a size 10 as they definitely won't fit around the middle. My fault for having narrow hips!

Really lovely jeans. Fit, look and wash well. I have received compliments when wearing them. I am 5ft1, got short and released the turn ups. Normally a size 12 or 14. I purchased a 12. Baggy but not too much. Still plenty of room to breathe in.

Disappointed
The first pair I ordered were a perfect fit but just not long enough in the leg, so I reordered a long firing same style, same size. Unfortunately when these arrived although they were correct length the fit vwas different. They did not fit well around my waist, gapping out at the back and they were longer in the crotch, so sadly I sent both pairs back.

Great jeans but didn’t fit me
These are great jeans but unfortunately for me 16 was too tight and 18 too loose. I needed long in both even though 5’5” otherwise they would have been half mast. I’ll be back when I’ve shed a few pounds
