Change in Model Bad
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I'm a longtime Brooks buyer, specifically of the Ghost Max2. I owned 3 pairs & was ready for a new one but had to buy the Max3. Whatever you did to pump them up with more foam made them unbearable. 1 wear a 10.5 with inserts. Now the footbed is too tight. Plus there's a design flaw. A big stitch or knot on the right of the tongue causes rubbing. Returned them for Saucony and Karhu. So sorry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are real comfortable. I had reconstructive surgery done on my foot and needed a wide shoe. I normally only wear brook shoes so I got these in wide.

The best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the nicest most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Padded in all the right places, vented so they don’t get too hot, all the right materials for reducing bad friction, and soft as a cloud. Super cute too!!

Perfect shoe for seniors!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to be honest. I’m not a runner. I don’t work out. The most difficult thing I do is walk my dog 3-4 times per day. I’m a 70 yr old woman with widespread arthritis. My back , knees and ankles (among other things) have some amount of pain on a daily basis, including while sleeping. I have been a fan of the “slip-in” variety of shoe for years. A few weeks back, I had an epiphany- could it be my shoes that are causing me pain? I asked my daughter, who runs at least 10 miles per day, which shoe she likes best and she said Brooks. Went to the website and used the tools there to determine which shoe would work best for me and the Ghost Max 3 came up. Although not really in my price range, I took the plunge and ordered a pair. What a game changer! I can easily slip into them, the cushioning is beyond compare and the support has alleviated a lot of the pain I had been experiencing. These are like walking on a cloud! They do run a little wide so make sure to take that into consideration. The only thing that would make these better would be more neutral color choices, but I can live with what is offered. I will definitely be ordering another pair!

Inconsistent fit

Back to perfect
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a huge fan on the original Ghost Max (had 3 pairs), but returned my Ghost Max 2's because the toe box was too narrow even though I do not have a wide foot (always worn just regular width). This version is back to perfect, the toe box is similar to the original Ghost Max. The cushioning is great for my long runs. I'm really happy with them, and hoping they drop in some new colors so I can pick up a second pair! The other shoes in my rotation are Weatherized Ghost (for winter running), and Ghost 16s.

Great for walking
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are extremely comfortable sneakers and I lave wearing them for walking. I personally prefer a more low profile sneaker for running, though. These feel too "heavy" on my feet when I run, even though they're pretty light.

Impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Glycerin girl for a LONG TIME. I liked the Glycerin Max a lot, but read that the Glycerin Max 2 had a smaller toe box. So, I gave the Ghost Max 3 a try and was immediately impressed. Roomy toe box, nice cushioning, overall very comfortable. Going to be a great long run shoe.
