Don't compromise on toe box space if you want healthy feet!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't run but I dance >15 hrs a week. When not dancing the Ghost Max 3 allows my feet to recover after all that activity. They have the correct amount of cushioning, support, and especially the toe box width needed for my toes to splay when walking. Buying wide size sneakers does not normally provide the room needed in the toe box. The Ghost Max 3 has the best amount of room out of any other sneakers I have tried. This reduces the pressure on my metatarsal bones and nerves between them and is keeping me dancing. I will likely order another pair and add glue on suede for dancing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely comfortable. Really helps with my osteoarthritis of the hip. The comfort can feel like a whole new lease on movement.

Sometimes, change isn't good.

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

I'm a huge fan of Ghost Max 1 & 2, not 3. 1 & 2 would spring me forward when I walked and made my feet feel great. 3 just thuds the ground, no more spring forward and they made my feet hurt. Sometimes, change isn't good.

Just Meh

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They seem to run a little small. Good for walk/run intervals. Just a meh kind of shoe. Not a long distance shoe for me personally but may be bees knees for another runner. Maybe they will improve some with a few more runs on them.

The best for the flat feet guy

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 260LB and have flat feet. I started with Dyad 7, 8 and 11. I am sad when Dyad was discontinued. For the past years, I switched to wear Ghost max 1, 2 and 3. This one is the best for sure, e.g no pain or sore while you are working a whole day or hiking for long weekend. Also, I have tried HOKA/Clifton 10, NB/860. Mizuno/waver rider. Finally, I highly recommend GM3 if you are oversized and flat feet.

Why Ruin Original Design?

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

I had previously worn the original Ghost Max for work as a HS Custodian (over 10k steps per shift). Very comfortable and stable. The new Ghost Max 3 does not offer the same comfort or stability. Why ruin the original sole/bedding design? The designers failed on this redesign.

Where has this shoe been all my life?

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

Where has this shoe been all my life? I have been wearing custom orthotics for a few years. I was never able to find a good shoe that held my walking stability. They were either too wide or my heel would slip of my foot felt like it would slide sideways while I walk. This was the only shoe that fixed all that, and my orthotics fit great! I was walking supine and it seems to have helped that as well! Thank you Brooks~!

Awesome sneakers! Says PE teacher on feet all day.

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these sneakers for my husband and he loves them! He is a PE teacher and says they are so comfortable as he is on his feet all day long! He also wears them to run in. He likes that Brooks offers sizes with extra width! We highly recommend!

Ghost Max 3 review.

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost Max 3 material is too porous and too cushiony (too clumsy). The Ghost Max and Ghost Max 2 was a lot better. I don’t know why you try to fix something that isn’t broken.

Walking is good for me now

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wearing Brooks for 30 years, running since 1975 until hip replacement in 2024. I have been a Ghost fan since the first model, found the Ghost 17 a little too snug in forefoot and toe box, so went back to wearing Ghost 16 and now have added Ghost Max 3, doctor doesn't recommend running so I've been walking 5 miles every day year round. I find the Ghost Max 3 helps protect my feet from the change to walking, and will try the Ghost 18 when they come out to see if the fit is back for me, and will alternate both models of Ghost.

What happened?

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to get cushioned insoles for the Ghost Max 3 to be comfortable. Never had to with the Ghost Max 2. Extra expense that shouldn’t happen.
