Ghost 17 Running Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks Ghost never disappoint! Been buying these for years now. I both run and walk daily. Putting in over 35 miles a week. I'm 63 and my step is a neutral. Brooks Ghost is a great fitting shoe with support and comfort that last. The shoestrings stay tied and are not a mile long. The back never rubs my ankles either. I've never calloused in my Brooks. Always take them on vacation. The color choices are a plus too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost 17's have been my favorite all around running and walking shoe. I'm training for a half marathon pretty much permanently all year long. I'm not a competitive racer; I just like to stay fit, lean, and athletic. I plan on racing in them this summer. I also wear them to work as I walk 5 to 10 miles a shift. I stand a lot too during my 12 hr shifts. The Ghost's are snappy for training at different speeds, and offer the perfect amount of cushion that doesn't work against you. They keep my feet fresh for all the excessive miles I hit in a week. In the last year, I've waisted thousands on shoes. Finally, these are the ones! I wear a size 10.5. These fit true to size. I bought a regular fit, and there is plenty of room in the toe box. I have really bad/big bunions and these don't rub on them at all. I love hill running so much. When I'm running downhill, my toes stay in place and do not bottom out. These are all out awesome shoes. I chose black because that's the dress code for shoes at work, and I just love black shoes period. I love the minimalism of training, racing, working, and playing all in the same shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these shoes for a week before returning them for a different style. The things I didn’t like include the tongue of the shoe always sliding to the side when wearing and the back of the heel having very little contact with my foot, feeling unsupported.

To anyone that has flat feet and bunions these shoes are the first pair of Brooks I tried on and they made the pain go completely away. My feet have hurt for over 10 years. If you have bunion pain I’m telling you these are the shoes. I have my own lawn care business and this is what I cut grass in now. Huge difference. I will be buying another pair soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these for some time now, and I rotate between these and my Revel 7 for work most days, but I've been having some strange foot pain, that I previously hadn't encountered. I didn't account the shoes to the cause until I realized that the heel had collapsed and there is an actual ridge in them. I did like them, while they lasted, but for the price point paid when I bought them, I won't purchase them again. :(

Shoe feels really light on feet, fits well. I think it works great for walking or running on both road surfaces and treadmills
