I have been using this for well over 10 years! It does work! Other reviews say it doesn't work with waterproof products but I don't use waterproof makeup so I can't comment on that. For non waterproof eye makeup applications, it works perfectly! There is ZERO oil or residue, which I prefer since I use it to remove eye makeup mistakes and then reapply. With oily removers, you can't effectively do that without your reapplied eye makeup having a smeared looking affect afterwards. If you want a quick remover or mistake touch-up this WILL do the job cleanly and effectively.

It works quickly to remove eye makeups. And it's gentle on the eyes, and doesn't irritate even if it accidentally gets into my eyes

Have tried every trick in the book to get the cover off this, and it will not come off. Will have to get someone to cut it off. Pretty disappointed.

I personally think this remover is great. I did the trick when removing my waterproof eye makeup and I had really low expectations, especially considering past reviews for this product. What worked for me is that I applied it to a cotton round and smeared it across each eye and let it sit for about 30 seconds, gently massage, and then it seemed to melt away quite nicely. I followed up with a cleansing balm.

This is the worst eye makeup remover I have tried. I specifically asked the sales rep for advice regarding which product to buy to remove the Estée Lauder mascara I had bought the previous week. I asked about Take It Away and she said this was better. It is useless on waterproof mascara. A very expensive mistake which has put me off the brand as I feel as though I was mis-sold in order to increase sales of this ineffective product. Very disappointed. I'll probably go back to using my previous brand.

This product is a 10 star product. It is do gentle and refreshing. It's my first time using it and I highly recommend.

I only wear waterproof eyeliner and regular mascara, never eyeshadow. I needed a specific eye makeup remover before I cleanse. This product takes forever to remove my eye makeup with lots of rubbing which is not good for the eye area. I have a full bottle now that won't get used. I have waisted my money. I purchased this online at Myer. The description should be more specific and say 'does not remove waterproof eye makeup'. Very disappointed.

I'll start by saying I'm a loyal Estée Lauder customer. However, I received this as part of a free gift with purchase, and it's the worst I've ever used. It doesn't even remove Estée Lauder's own eyeliner. Anything from the drugstore would be better, I'm sorry to say. Save your money!
