I agree with all of the reviews for these, and I would like to add that I struggle to find trousers that are the right shape and the right size, it's a nightmare and it's very soul destroying. I find that the curve range in any of the manufacturers is completely insulting to women who have a shapely figure, but who are not necessarily a larger size. There isn't enough of an equal variety. Many times I come across trouser ranges that are slim leg styles or ankle grazers and not that many women can, or want to wear them. M&S should not be competing with other fashion outlets, styles, and should continue to cater for those with a little bit of flare, taste and smart casual feminine looks.

Actually, I don't want to tell you how well these are made, cut and fit, because you will buy them and I want to buy more of this brand! The best trousers I have bought from M&S in ages!

Every autumn I scour the M&S website looking for winter weight black trousers. Once again, these are not those trousers. Although it's claimed they contain wool, they are lightweight and will not have enough warmth. Also they are unlined so are scratchy on the inside.The slightly drop waist is comfortable but they sit poorly across the hips. 'Short' trousers are now too long for me so they would have to be taken up. Returned.

Wanted plain black trousers for.work and.these fit the.bill well. Good quality and fit. My only complaint is that the.material is on the thin side which.makes them look cheap.

Very disappointed with these trousers the material felt and looked cheap but were expensive. They were very wide and did not sit well, Would not recommend returned.

Dreadful shape and the fabric felt cheap and nasty. Very poor value. I've had better trousers for half the price.

Having bought other M&S black trousers for work, that cling or make you hot I thought I'd spend more and buy a better pair. Sadly these don't fit the bill. The fabric content isn't as I'd expected, it feels like polyester and not classy enough. Prepared to put up with the fact that there are pockets in them but they are baggy compared to other size 20's from M&S that I've purchased. will be taking them back. I'm not the right shape to wear the ankle grazers so finding it really difficult to get a good, comfortable pair of black trousers with what's on offer at M&S at the moment!
