Double Collar Car Coat

As long as you look at the coat and do not wear it then it might be worth buying.

I've had this coat for 5 months and although I made allowances for the small size mentioned by other reviewers and by my own trying on in shop, I've found the coat very comfortable & warm until the zip (which is very poor quality compared with previous M & S coats I have purchased) tore this week and I had to return this to M & S. It's a shame as this is now the only coat offered online in a long size which is essential for anyone over 6 feet tall. So I've now got to start looking again. Hoping someone from M & S reads this and takes note of my comments regarding the zip and improves the quality of the zips in future years

good enough coat but NOT a car coat, it was too inflexible,. With regards to size I find M & S clothes are mad to fit very snug. I have a M & S Parka which I bought many years ago and I still wear, It is size medium. Today I find I have to buy extra large. This also applies to their outdoor jackets.

My husband is not an easy man to please when it comes to his clothes, but this beautiful jacket has certainly hit the mark! He absolutely loves it for its superb style, great fit and wonderful warmth. It has hardly been off his back since buying, and living in Scotland as we do, this jacket is an essential for keeping the freezing cold winds at bay. It is beautifully made and in my opinion very good value for money. Well done M&S!

This product was bought for my husband for personal use.. These are the observation made by him.. "The fabric of this product does not ventilate well at all....after only 20 minutes of wearing it ,the perspiration takes place although the garment underneath,e.g. light M&S woollen jumper is worn...If I had the right to return the product to the store I would gladly return it...NOT FIT FOR THE PURPOSE... it has been worn only ONCE for about 3 hours in total.. IN VERY COLD WEATHER.. The jacket is deemed unwearable for the above reason and remains in the wardrobe... MOST disappointing experience with M&S product .."

Other than the double collar which I think will only be necessary when the cold weather is extreme, the cost is a perfect replacement of my previous coat from M&S.

Husband wanted a warmer casual but smart jacket. This one he liked and instore ordered it for delivery next day. All good

Useful all season jacket, because the quilted liner can be unzipped. Would have expected the Large to fit, but too tight so changed for the XLarge which is just right.

Very pleased with the coat, good fit and very snug, would recommend this item!

Wanted to buy new winter coat for my husband, knew he would love this coat. Good style, colour, lots of pocket space plus I got 20% off. He tried it on in-store, he's usually a Large but found he needed ExLarge. None in store, assistant ordered one which was delivered for pick up next day. Good buy.

I purchased this coat for my husband for Christmas. He was absolutely delighted with it. It is smart, very warm and a great coat for the winter months. He says it is very comfortable even for driving. A brilliant coat all round which I know he would recommend as a great buy for a great coat.

I LIKE IT BUT AS IT IS FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT CAN'T YET COMMENT ON FIT.

This water repellant coat weighs about the same as my Navy reef er and is just as snug. The inner collar touches the chin and can be an irritation and requires turning down by the wearer. Hopefully it will do well in rain. Although it’s a “car coat”; it is too smart to wear in the car, so I take it off and put it on the back seat.

Coat looks good, fits to size and is very comfortable to wear. Very good value for money.
