Good consistency but takes time to sink into your skin. Once it does it is softening. Not much of a smell to it though.

This was so disappointing. I bought it along with the matching fragrance for my birthday. I used both for my birthday night out but the body body lotion has practically no scent at all? And the tiny hint that you could just about make out, was nothing like the fragrance. I'm not surprised it was only a fiver. That was bad enough but had I paid more, I'd have been furious. I will be complaining about it after Christmas. Considering this is a Marks and Spencer product, I'm highly disappointed and definitely wouldn't recommend the product or buy it again.

I bought this in store having read how good a dupe this fragrance is of a Lancome perfume. I smelt the perfume in store and it definitely did smell like the Lancome perfume. To compliment the perfume I already have I bought the body lotion for layering of the fragrance. I found it to be a good consistency. As you put it on it's a white layer but it soon sinks into your skin. I have very sensitive skin and have had no issues at all, so I can recommend it for sensitive skin. Although it's a good body lotion I'm disappointed in the smell. It has a bit of a tang when you put it on that I don't like. Once that initial smell sinks in it basically fades to a neglible faint aroma which smells nothing like the perfume. It hasn't been any use for me for layering the perfume smell but I'll use it as a body lotion. Unfortunately to get a product which does the job of a layering Lancome lotion I'll have to buy the original branded lorion.
