Denim Shirt

As other customers said comes up small .go up a size

A very good shirt and good quality I bought this for my son who is very pleased with the shirt.

My husband looks great in this shirt. Nice fit, quality, and a very nice shade of denim. Worn during holidays with chinos, to eat out. He especially like the pocket for his mobile phone.

Well made good quality shirt. Unfortunately It seems M&S are following other retailers by avoiding price hikes through providing less for the same money - for many years I have been confident that M&S size L was plenty roomy enough for me, but this item is tight across the shoulders and around the waist. I have found the same with trousers recently. And before you ask the obvious, no I haven’t put weight on, in fact I’ve lost a bit.

Reading previous reviews ordered one size bigger. Shirt was of lovely quality and fitted spot on.

Casual yet smart, my husband now has four of these shirts. He says the 100% cotton denim offers better sun protection than a standard short sleeved shirt, yet is still cool and fresh in hot weather, plus he prefers shirts with a breast pocket. I find they wash and line dry with minimal creasing, so no need to iron.

Bought because it is one of few of your shirts which does not have a button-down collar (I detest them). Advice on the sales page was that the shirt fitted on the small side so I ordered a Large size instead of my usual Medium. Just as well as the shirt now fits after a fashion but if I raise my arms above my waist the bottom of the shirt lifts up to my navel. Not comfortable to wear. I still have many M&S shirts from the past. All still fit well and are comfortable. I think you really need to address your sizing and design.

My husband needed a large rather than his usual medium and even the large fits quite snugly. It is not labelled as a slimmer fit. Having said that it is an attractive looking and comfortable shirt.

I tried a denim shirt on in store and found it to be just a little tight so after checking that they did a larger size but this wasn't stocked in the store They assistant order me on online to collect from the food hall local to me. It arrived on time and I collected it and nothing wrong with the shirt - it was great but it just didn't fit! When I tried it on though it was supposed to be larger than the store one tried on it was much smaller and totally useless so I had to drive a 12mile round trip to return it to my local food hall. A disappointing experience

Bought this shirt for my husband and he’s well pleased with the fit and comfort. I noticed (he hasn’t!), however, that a section of the stitching on the back of the left sleeve is a bit irregular and looks as if there’s been a problem with the seam. But it seems secure enough and not a sufficient reason to return the garment.

This has become my husband’s favourite summer shirt ….. he has now bought x3 !

Heavier than expected. Colour not true to actual product but still happy with it

Looks good, a good fit and weight. But, when you raise your arms a little, it’s tight across the upper back/ shoulder area. I’m definitely a medium and I ordered a large. I am wearing it to see if I can live with the problem.
