I count myself very lucky that I managed to get one of these skirts, considering how they sold out so quickly. This skirt is so gorgeous. It is lovely quality dark denim and is made to flatter - it skims the hips and somehow makes me look slimmer than I actually am. It is just the right length and will go with a multitude of tops - Summer and Winter. This is by far the best item of clothing I have bought from M&S for a very long time and I hope they make more of them, in different shades of denim, because everything about this skirt is fabulous. Thank you M&S.

I hadn't seen these skirts on the website or store before, not sure how I missed them , so came across this in the sale. Its really fantastic, very swingy and a good length for me just above the ankle but would be ok for someone taller also, the fabric is a good weight and the skirt is full and hangs off a broad elastic waist band making it very comfortable to wear , too hot for now but really looking forward to wearing in autumn. I bought a 10 and 12 as previous reviews said it was large but I found a perfect size 12 fitted well so returned the 10.

Loved it, very catwalk looking yet everyday wearable. So wanted to keep it but it needs someone with hips rather than my apple no hips shape for it to hang correctly (if I pulled it out a bit at the hips it suddenly looked good on me)

A fab skirt, been looking for a maxi demin skirt for long time .Saw this ordered it said Wow.The elastic waistband is so comfortable ,material great, flair lovely.Went to order another and found ,sold out. When you get it right please reorder.How about in blue demin?

The skirt is perhaps a little too full. It’s lovely quality denim though. Too heavy for our current summer but will be great for autumn and winter. Good length too.

I love this skirt, it is heavy but then it is a maxi skirt. It will be ideal for the autumn and winter with a nice jumper. The style is really good and the material is excellent quality. I am sure I will get lots of wear out of it.

Great skirt quiet long I am 5ft4 will need about 1 inch alteration on skirt but won't spoil design of skirt soft denim and skirt hangs well good buy to wear in to autumn and winter

I'm actually quite astounded by how nice this skirt is - really smart, flattering and unusual style for M&S (on trend too), lovely dark denim fabric and great fit. I am just a bit disappointed because now that it's sold out I can't exchange it for another one that doesn't have a discolouration in the denim on the front (a long horizontal very pale line that runs across the middle of the skirt). Whether it's a fault in the dye or in the way it was stored, it would be nice when you pay full price for something for it to be perfect. I'm so pleased with the rest of it though that I will keep it and enjoy wearing it.

So glad I managed to get one in my size as this is a fabulous skirt. At 5' 7" it is at my ankles and the elastic waistband is a very comfortable fit without being uncomfortable. I might wait until it's a little cooler before wearing it but can't wait to wear this with either flats and T-shirt or jumpers and boots in winter. This is a fantastic all-year item and great value. Well done M&S!

This was bought on a wim as it was selling fast at the time. I put it on a little worried about the thick denim - in the middle of a heat wave. It is divine to wear, the elastic waist is so comfortable - I bought a 12 and my waist is about 31" with shirt tucked in. It is swishy and so cool in an odd way. About 2" from the top of my foot. This is actually a classy skirt, the sort I might find in other stores for at least twice the price - WELL DONE M&S!!!

this skirt is made of a heavy denim fabric in a useful dark colour. Because it has an elastic waistband, it is comfortable to wear and not bulky round the middle. It is however quite long, only just short enough for me to wear unaltered. I am 5 ft 7in.
