Sizing too small
Typically you can rely on M&S for generous sizing. But these ran far too tight. I was really disappointed to have to return them because the quality was lovely.

Lovely chinos but...
Yes, I recommend this
These are lovely chinos. The perfect weight. length and fit beautifully around the rear. They had to go back though because, despite me being a standard size, they were far too tight around the waist. I find this a lot with M & S trousers but if I go up a size they are too baggy around the rear. I put them against the same size Hobbs trousers and there was 2 inch difference with the M&S trousers being smaller and not compatible with the size chart. When are M & S going to listen to their customers and get sizing consistent!!!

These fit well but are not as tapered as I expected.

Good fit and fabric
Yes, I recommend this
Wanted a pair of light, comfortable trousers that are not too baggy. I ordered in size 12 initially but too big so reordered a 10. Absolutely brilliant!

A Perfect Fit
Very pleased with these trousers. They are a comfortable fit ,lovely colour ( blue) and a perfect length which is a pleasure as I have had problems with the length in recent purchases. Would definitely recommend.

Frumpy
No, I don't recommend this
I've bought a lot of St Michael and Per Una branded trousers from M&S over the years and I've often been disappointed with the style & fit - baggy on hips, thighs etc. These chinos were branded 'crew' so I was very disappointed to find they were also baggy, frumpy looking and very unflattering. The overall quality was good but at £49 I decided to return.
