Get your Christmas drinks sorted, from vintage ports to go with your cheeseboard to the best spirits to shake into cocktails to easy-drinking ales, brewed specifically for the festive season. If it’s pre-batched cocktails you’re looking for, or a Christmas wine pairing guide, we’ve got that too.

Party-starting cocktails
Our new ready-to-drink Christmas cocktails are perfectly balanced and easy to serve. Pour a vodka-based Christmas Cosmo or a peachy Christmas on the Beach for your Christmas-morning cheers, or get the party started with our new Marksologist cocktails. Try a twist-on-a-classic Marksologist Blood Orange Negroni or a sweet-sour festive Marksologist Sloe Gin Sour – delicious served in chilled coupe glasses.
Or how about recreating a German Christmas market at home? Our floral White Mulled Wine, infused with vanilla, pear and classic mulled spices, is the winter warmer you need to try this season. Round off the evening with a nightcap – will it be our buttery, fruity Mince Pie Liqueur or a Collection Millionaire’s Irish Cream Liqueur?

There's a wine for that
Whether it’s a zesty, crisp white to go with your turkey or an elegant, full-bodied red that’s perfect with beef, our drinks expert Caroline Thompson-Hill has the wine pairing for you. Try our clean, fruity Collection Babich Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Organic to go with your seafood starter, and match your cheeseboard with a bottle of port. Caroline recommends a six-year-aged Collection Late Bottled Vintage Port, brimming with bold blackberry, spice and dark chocolate flavours. Read the full guide.

Amazing ale, beer and cider
For a Christmas tipple alternative to wine or cocktails, our easy-drinking, sustainably-brewed Southwold Christmas Ale is made specifically for Christmas. Double-roasted crystal malts and First Gold hops provide aromas of dried fruit, toast and spice, which will pair beautifully with cured meats, strong English cheeses or Christmas pudding. For a crisp, zesty wheat beer, opt for our Christmas Blood Orange Wheat Beer, or, if cider is more your thing, this year’s Christmas Devon Cider, infused with seasonal spices and clementine, should be your go-to.

Make your own Christmas cocktails
What’s your Christmas cocktail of choice? Is it a twist on a classic, like this tiramisu espresso martini recipe, made with our Collection Tiramisu Irish Cream Liqueur or a vibrant Christmas martini cocktail? For something zesty and bright, our clementine whisky sour is bursting with Christmas flavours. Alternatively, try a nostalgic festive snowball cocktail, using our free-range, exclusive-recipe, own-label free-range egg Advocaat.
For fizz, our Delacourt Champagne Brut is a must at Christmas. Bag an extra bottle to make these vibrant, juicy berry gin fizz. Alternatively, use your favourite bubbly to make five sparkling prosecco cocktail recipes, all with their own fun festive twists. For a low-alcohol spritz, shake up a festive cranberry fizz using our spiced Low Alcohol Aperitivo and Alcohol Free Fizzero.

A final flourish
For a final touch that feels extra special, add a garnish to your cocktails. Fragrant herbs, bold and zesty citrus and warming spices can complement your Christmas tipples beautifully. Sometimes, just a twist of fresh lime is all that’s needed, as in this festive cosmo cocktail. Or go extra, as in this hot toddy recipe with a cinnamon scroll, a twist of orange peel and a sprig of rosemary for a heady mix that will send your head spinning.
For tequila or mezcal-based cocktails, like this camomile margarita, a spicy salt rim will look and taste the part. Use sea salt flakes, rather than coarse or fine salt, for this. Combine Anglesey Sea Salt and chilli flakes, rub the rims of your glasses with lime wedges, then dip them into the chilli salt mix. For a hint of smokiness, use our Collection Oak Smoked Anglesey Sea Salt to serve a smoky pomegranate paloma. Meanwhile, a cinnamon sugar rim pairs perfectly with rum-based, apple-flavoured spiced apple spritz and spiced apple punch recipes. Cheers!
