Clinique Smart™ SPF 15 Custom Moisturiser Cream 50ml

Happy with this moisturizor - not greasy and easy to apply.

I had bought Superdefence for many years and absolutely loved it but, when the formula changed, I found the new Superdefence unsatisfactory and decided to try Clinique Smart. I have persevered with this product and I am now on my second jar but I find it no better. Also, I find the cream very difficult to apply. It rolls and pills on my skin so that I need to wipe off the unsightly white residue which is uneconomical given its price.

I love this cream. It easily absorbs into skin. Leaves my skin feeling soft. It is expensive but I purchased it with my sparks 20% discount. I love that Marks and Spencer have it so I can order on line

It is expensive but very good moisturiser lasts a long time

A favourite moisturiser. Creamy texture but not too greasy on the skin after application. Suits my combination skin. A little goes a long way with a jar this size lasting a few months of daily use. Added benefit of spf.

A good moisturiser with SPF 15, used it for years!

I have used this for years now. I am hyper sensitive to ultra violet even in winter and using this means I always have some sun protection on board. I haven't had any bad experiences with it. I don't find it greasy. Once it's absorbed it is invisible.

Really disappointed in this product. It goes on well but doesn't sink it, it pills up. I used it this morning & haven't put foundation over it, but now at 2.30 pm it's pilling up and rubbing off.

I had, like other people, used the previous version of this for years. But given that has now been withdrawn purchased this. Well, I wish i hadn't, what a waste of money! Its greasy, doesn't sink into the skin and leaves a layer of 'gunk' on my face. The only good thing is that it doesn't upset my skin. Bring back the old version please!

I was really excited to try this as it's the first more pricey face cream I've ever bought. However I'm really disappointed as even though I got the version for oily skin, as per advice, it leaves my face ridiculously shiny from the moment I apply it. Not happy about spending so much money on something that leaves my skin the exact opposite of how I would like it to be. On the plus side, I have sensitive skin & this is one of the only moisturisers that hasn't brought me out in spots.

I am a big fan of Clinique products and use them religiously. I have used the Smart night cream for over 12 months now and really like it so I thought I would try the day cream. I have combination oily skin and bought the corresponding product type but this doesn't suit me at all. It feels sticky and greasy when applying; it feels like the consistency of sun cream when you put it on. My face had an oily sheen all day, I couldn't put make up on over the top as it slid off. I tried it once more with the same experience. It was straight back to the hydrating jelly for me. An expensive pot of cream for 2 applications; wish I had tried a sample first!

Wanted a moisturiser with SPF. Each day I waited 10 mins after applying before applying foundation and mascara but skin so shiny and end up looking like a panda by the afternoon with (waterproof) mascara under my eyes. So only use if you don't wear make up!

I have thin, pale combination that was always prone to spots and easily irritated by most skin products. In my early 20's I found Dramatically Different moisturiser which was the only product my skin liked. As I got older and hit the menopause at 50, my skin became drier and I had a few wrinkles appear. Dramatically Different was no longer cutting it and I changed to SMART SPF 15. Its been amazing, I love how it keeps my face hydrated and my skin feels fresh and plumped up. I have always been a Clinique customer and feel my skin has benefitted from its products giving me fewer wrinkles and clear healthy skin. I strongly recommend this product.

I use this in summer. It's light to apply but leaves a sheen and I think this is because it has SPF in it. So it's not good under make-up as I use powder over the top. I use it now on my forehead as this is dry but not on the face. This is because it is too shiney and leaves a film on this skin. Not a good base for make-up. It is good for the sun so I use it if I am sunbathing.
