Checked Straight Leg Trousers

Loved the fabric and fit and style, wore in London and received several compliments (not in store!)

Loved these I ordered 14L but they were actually too long even with heels and were also a generous fit Had to return them Did try to re order but out of stock

I love the fit of these and the quality is excellent- got the long length and they're just about long enough but i do like to wear them high! Have worn them for two days and had multiple complements already - perfect winter/xmas trousers!

Really like these. The checks line up and the trousers look good. A little large in the waist but a belt takes care of that. Would buy blue and mustard check pair as well but the check match is awful.

It seemed a bit of a risk to buy check trousers, being a short 14, but they are so beautifully tailored that the fit is perfect - and curiously seem slimming. I bought one of the cream jerseys to complete the outfit, and have had countless compliments. These trousers are carefully made - they even have a diagonal button inside the zip, so that the front fastening fits flat and isn't bulky or stretched. Thank you M&S!

After years in the wilderness M & S are finally getting it right with clothing. I have bought 4 pairs of trousers this season after years of drought! Lovely trousers, good quality and value for money. There are discrepancies between product descriptions on the labels and online however. I wanted ankle grazers and following other reviews I bought short length even though I have a 32in inside leg. These are perfect.

I firstly bought the leggings in 14R and not the trousers. I then bought trousers in long length. The leggings were too tight and the trousers baggy and too long! I have given up on these and have bought other trousers instead.

Was looking for tartan trousers and pleased when I saw these in M&S. Initially thought they were 7/8th length from the images online so bought long to compensate. However, they are regular length so exchanged them. At the same time dropped down a size as the relaxed fit is very roomy. Love them now I have the correct fit.

These are a good quality fabric. Lovely trousers but had to buy the short length as they are very long.

Tried the long length in store - too long. Ordered the regular online - too long. Took them back to store and bought short. Just about ok. What is going on with the leg lengths? Lovely trousers have kept them but may have to let them down a fraction. I am 5ft 7ins tall how do short people manage??

I ordered the wrong blue/black/green trousers. I wanted the slim, stretch version of these so returned. My error. But I did not particularly care for these actual trousers.

I really wanted to like this trouser, particularly as the check is black watch. Having accepted that the product description is inaccurate, not high waisted but mid-rise, as well as a 'relaxed fit', I tried the trousers. Luckily I had ordered the trouser in 2 different lengths in the knowledge that M&S sizing is a bit of a "lucky dip" experience. At 5'6" tall I am a 'short' leg in this style, rather than my usual 'regular' length. The fit of the trouser was good on waist and hip if a little looser than I would normally wear, but that is the relaxed fit. The checks match in all the right places, and the fabric is a good weight. The length too was good, but what I cannot forgive is the side seam on both legs turning inwards from knee to ankle! At first I thought it was due to the trouser being so badly creased, but, sadly not. A pair that fits properly I am sure will look good. I shall not revisit this trouser and have chosen the Autograph wool check instead.

I liked the design and quality when I saw the trousers in store but bought the wrong length home so had to take them back to exchange. The process was very simple and the staff were very helpful. Now that the trousers are the right length I am really happy with them, and they are just what I need.

Good fit and length. Good quality and price. Pattern might be a little garish for some but if you like blue and green checks these are a good buy.
