Checked Side Stripe Slim Leg Trousers

When I first bought these I noticed the back of the waistband was an elastic material and it was not what I expected, but it means they are very comfortable. I actually stitched the front pockets down to give a cleaner line, as they kept pulling and they look great now!

I bought a size 14 short and they are a perfect fit. Like the fact that the waistband is elasticated at the back - just gives a little extra room. Liked the check material - in at the moment. Only dislike - the stripe down the side - not quite for a 72 year old. But my husband said I looked slim in the trousers so that's a plus.

I liked the look of these online, I had been looking for a pair of trousers with stripes down the sides and thought these would be the ones. But there is something not quite right about them, the fabric is light, which is ok but maybe looks a little cheap to me, but the proportions are a bit off for my size. The waistband comes up very high (I have nothing against high waiters btw) so that would be fine but they gape a bit around the top leg area (they won't let me use the actual word). Not a good look. So although I haven't returned them yet, I suspect I will.

Nice quality trousers , wasn't sure about the side strip as looked odd with a more formal trouser , fitted nicely apart from the pockets that stuck out , a larger size and they would have been too big , shame , returned .

Daughter and daughter in law were envious of my new trousers; trendy and stylish were two of their comments. Perfect for this in between time, and I love them!
