Checked Long Sleeve Shirt Dress

I think it was supposed to have a tie belt, but it didn't come with one. It was a nice enough dress, but the red didn't really suit me. It was returned, but I'm sure someone else is now happy to have got it!

Material rather thin. One of the fastenings was slightly out of line - which I didn’t notice until wearing dress. This could have been easily remedied had fastenings been buttons and buttonholes and not press studs. Comfortable to wear and washed well.

Comfy, stylish and good value. Would like some more colours in this style. Wore with tights and ankle boots and loved it.

Lovely, comfortable easy to wear dress. It is a loose fit but don’t be tempted to go down a size because of this as the arm and length are just right. The tie belt gives it shape at the waist. The fabric is light but warm due to the slightly brushed feel but if extra warmth is needed there is room for a vest top underneath due to the loose fit. I have worn this dress to a meeting at work, day out shopping and the pub and it fits all situations perfectly. Definitely a really good buy.

I work from home, so I wanted a kind of dress I can wear around the house as well as if I need to quickly pop outside. This was exactly what I was looking for. The fit is pretty comfortable. I wear UK size 20 tops, size 22-24 bottoms, so I tried this dress on in 20 and 22, and settled on the latter one to make sure it sits nicely on my hips. Pleasantly, the top half isn't baggy in the slightly larger size (as is often the case when I buy something that fits my hips). The one thing I'm not a huge fan of are the belt hoops. They look extremely flimsy, and I fear they'll snap soon enough. On an otherwise well-made and not too cheap garment, I would expect sturdier details.
