Checked Jersey Skirt

I think I should have ordered a smaller size I like the check and the stretch would give comfort verdict is out until I try a smaller size though

I ordered 2 size 14's, regular and long. The long was a perfect fit but far too long, the regular although the 'same' size was too tight on the waist. On closer examination there was nearly an inch difference in the waist bands. Unfortunately both returned. M&S need to get the quality control sorted as this isn't the first experience I've had with same size cloths

This skirt looked lovely on the website and though it is described as the M&S Collection it did come with a Classic label on it, which did put me off. Also what I didn't realise (and probably missed this when I read the description) was that it was a pull on skirt, which I don't really like as they are very unforgiving! Needless to say I haven't kept it.

This skirt is fabulous ! At first, I was worried by the category "Classic" and wondered if I would end up looking like Miss Marple bur fear not. This skirt is an absolute gem!. The colour, the pattern, the skirt length, the fit it 100% amazing. I wore the skirt to work and felt very sophisticated. It's also very comfortable, due to the elasticated waist. Well Marks, 10/10! Can we have more skirts like this please!

Very nice, comfortable , true to size and unusual colour. The ticket said it was a classic which I didn’t realise when ordering as this range is usually on the big side for me. Very pleased and will get a lot of wear from it.

I bought this in a size despite reviews stating it was true to size. I'm glad I did as it fits perfectly. Actually fits my waist! Amazing. I normally take a size 8 but even though my waist is 27 inches and an 8 is supposed to be 24 inches, I still find them far too big. So I took a gamble and it paid off. Please M&S review your sizing chart and be honest about measurements. Having said all that the skirt is lovely, classy without being too smart. Nice material and looks great on. Figure hugging without showing too much.

Just got this delivered and want another colour! It’s beautiful, comfy, sized well and a lovely fit. I struggle with pencil skirts as I have size 10 hips and a size 8 waist but this has enough give without being stretched to suit me. Very very pleased.

Very pleased with my new skirt. Stylish and comfortable. Skirt material good but needs a slip underneath. Colour nicer than photo and can be worn with lots of different coloured tops.

This skirt is comfortable,fits well and looks great.

I wore this on a busy day in the office and it still felt comfortable, soft and cosy at the end of the day. Not only did I feel good I looked good too. The yellow colour made a freshing change from the staple colours of grey, black and blue Need a matching jacket!

The style and the length are perfect, looks really sophisticated and classy, the skirt hugs me from the waistband all the way down to my calfs, another great skirt from the Classic range.
