Checked A-Line Midi Skirt

A lovely skirt, perfect for cold winter days, washed well and hung to dry, it didn’t even require ironing.

I was tempted to keep this skirt as I liked the colours but I felt it did not hang right as not being lined. The material is quite thin, looks heavier on the website picture, and though even with the discount it was over-priced. I, therefore, returned it.

I like this skirt very much. I needed one size larger because I am a bit big around the waist! Like the way it is cut and hangs. Looks nice with a merino polo neck sweater I bought.

Loved style and length and fit just what I wanted. Pity it was not lined and would look to buying same in wool material especially if it had a lining.

Nice skirt. Have been looking for one ilke this for a while. Such a shame it did not have a bit of stretch in the waistband which the item deitails inferred. Had to return.

Fab skirt for winter looks great with knee boots. Being tall bought the 12 long and lengthwise it is excellent but is a little snug around the waist. A lining would have been nice. Nevertheless it will be worn a lot over the next few months.

very nice style and fabric pattern, I think slightly smaller than your standard size 8 fitting. Difficult to decide which length to choose as both the standard and long length versions show the same length on the web-site! As the material is quite lightweight, this skirt would hang much better if it were lined, and a well-made and a good quality skirt such as this should have been lined, especially for winter wear. The back fastening is slightly awkward for those of us with stiff arms and fingers. A side zip would be much easier to reach.

Colours on this skirt are more muted than shown online and felt dated. However a nice design but spoilt yet again by sizing. Waist was far too big.

Much too long for me. will have to have it altered.

This skirt is a tad on the small side but I’ve decided to keep it. I’m just under 5’2” and ordered my normal size 8 in the regular length. Size 10 would be too big. The skirt has a lovely feminine cut and the length for me is perfect. It’s a nice weight for Autumn/Spring and will look good in Winter with warm tights and boots.

I purchased this skirt on line and was disappointed with it. The material was extremely cheap looking and had no weight to it. I liked the colour but that was a far as it goes. The pockets stuck out and made me look even larger than I am! What a shame as it looked so nice on the. Model.

i ordered this in a 14 long and regular. Always a 14 but didn’t get to try it on as zip was so tiny I couldn’t get it on in either size. I liked the skirt so much I ordered a 16 in long. It’s a little loose in the waist but a good length, below the knee but not what I’d call long. Really pleased that I persevered and coped with going up a size. Have bought skinny jeans in a -4 since and they fit well so wonder how the skirt would have been in with a longer zip.

I needed a couple of warmer skirts and this really hit the spot. While it is significantly on the small side, the skirt itself hangs beautifully. The length is genuinely midi and I’m thrilled to bits with my new skirt.

I love this skirt, normally size 8 M&S clothes Fit great but slightly loose for me, this skirt is definitely slightly snug around the waist, but I can breathe, so all is good. Otherwise it is just perfect for me.
