Chartreuse Lamp Shade

Although shade not as light in colour as it appears online, it is still a rather unusual shade of green. This is a colour of lampshade that seems difficult to find elsewhere.

Bought a pair of these for bedside lamps to go with curtains which had a small amount of citrus green. I thought it would be impossible to match the colour, but these are a perfect match. They were ordered on-line as they were not available in store.They arrived within 2 days , were well wrapped in a strong box and with lots of bubble wrap to protect them. The fabric has a slight black thread through the finish. The inside is white and has a faint shimmer when the light is switched on. The frame is sturdy and can be adapted for both ceiling and lamp fittings. The citrus green changes to a warm , mellow colour when the light is switched on.

Ok, I will admit, I am basically obsessed with this lampshade. We are due a baby in just over 8 weeks and this lampshade has really made my gender neutral nursery pop. I tried to look for alternatives but no other shop had anything like this. I bought the 40cm version and even in a small room it doesn't look too big. Only comment I would make is that in real life it is a little darker in colour than the picture suggests. Can't wait for baby to arrive now to be able to use the room a lot more!

I wanted something bright & colourful in my living room and wanted to replace the old shade. Beautiful colour, slight sheen to the material which is lovely, sort of lime green cross with hint of yellow just like the liqueur.

I felt slightly expensive, but it is good quality. I would describe the colour as a dirty lime green! All as description and looks well as a contrast colour with Sand and Terracotta.
