Great go-to messenger bag
Yes, I recommend this
Bought the bag for everyday commuting and it's become my go-to bag. Adequate amount of space and compartments and looks very trendy as well. Haven't scuffed it enough to comment on the scuff-resistance. You can make it waterproof as well by using sprays or beeswax (which I've done).

Cordura messenger bag
No, I don't recommend this
The quality and look of this bag are excellent. But if you put anything more than a laptop in it the fastener comes open. Also when you adjust the shoulder strap you are unable to move the shoulder protector to the right place.
