Dawn has returned to this year’s ad as the voice of the M&S Christmas Fairy, and better yet, Dawn herself stars in our Christmas ad, too. “I spent some time tasting this year's unbelievably delicious Christmas food range from M&S… and can honestly tell you those hours might be my FAVOURITE moments from my whole year... and I saw Taylor Swift!" says Dawn. "It was embarrassing for everyone when I eventually had to be asked to please leave the room… but little did they know I smuggled six double-wrapped pigs in blankets in my pyjama pocket. YUM. I win. Pockets didn’t. But I did." And as for making this year's ads? "Just wait 'til you see them," says Dawn. "We had such a laugh, and they’re so lush! I'm not gonna lie… Fairy was a diva. Who knew fairies could bite?!"

Dawn's dream Christmas

“My husband’s sausage rolls are the first thing I eat that tells me it’s Christmas,” says Dawn. And her favourite festive tipple? “It’s a bit predictable – Irish cream over ice,”. As for the big day, she’ll be tucking into a feast that, “slides off the plate and contains a minimum of nine different vegetable dishes, including my brother’s grated courgette surprise. The surprise is that it's actually very tasty”. Has Dawn ever had any Christmas hosting disasters? “I once had to cook the whole Christmas lunch because my husband was called out on a ‘shout’ on the lifeboat. It was disastrous because he’d planned it all."
