Boxy Linen Rich Shirt

Sadly I noticed a flaw in the sleeve of my pink shirt when I put it on for the first time this morning!!!! I will go back to M&S and show it to them and hopefully I will be given a new one!!!! I have bought the green one too - and that one is perfect

I loved the style on the website but found the lime was more like yellow, the shirt very large (though I ordered one size down) and the breast pocket hung open. The linen is also quite thin for this sort of price. I have returned the shirt.

Lovely colour and material. Boxy shape suits my body shape, so very pleased. Great with jeans for a summer's evening or a cooler day time wear.

Great colour and interesting shape but unfortunately too big even though I read reviews and got a smaller size. Garment returned. I wish they did this colour in the conventional linen shirt shape. Also big sizes are poorly designed, just because you are bigger in the hips and bust doesn’t mean that you are taller and have longer arms. Quite often a 3 inch difference in lengths between a size 12 and a 18/20 meaning the shape is lost.

On the large side so bought a size smaller. Still roomy! Cool to wear during this hot spell. Love the pink shade.

I'm normally a 10/12 but had to go down to a size 6 for this shirt. The winter lime is such a zingy colour, I couldn't resist. I'm short-waisted, so really like a boxy shape, as most shirts are too long for me. This was just right, and with the cuffs turned back the sleeve length was fine. I'm not keen on the rather strange pocket which is sewn into the shoulder seam, which is why I've given it only 4 stars for style. However, the colour and overall look make this a useful addition to my wardrobe - perfect with black culottes, or over a summer dress for cooler weather. A Sparks discount made it very good value for money.

Love the green colour; not too out there but a great change from white and pastels. Loose fit is great for warmer weather but still looks stylish and shapely. The side vents come up quite high which isn’t obvious from the photos but this adds another nice stylish touch. Good quality fabric makes this good value too.

I LOVE the tailoring and style of this shirt but I had to iron it before I wore for the first time and within an hour it was a crushed mess on me. Ah it looked terrible!

Love this top. When I got it thought it might crease rather a lot, but delighted that it didn't. Would love to see this style repeated in different colours and heavier cloth for winter months. Well done for getting this spot on. Would thoroughly recommend this item.

love this linen shirt .... with the slightly different tailoring nd cut, it makes it a bit different from the norm. It can be worn as a shirt or as a light-weight jacket. The sleeves are long, but I have the long cuff turned back, and it works fine like that. Lovely colours ... I bought the pink and the lime ones. Really nice pieces for my wardrobe, v.pleased.

Under the shop lights this looked a nice sludgy green, but unfortunately in daylight it is a sludgy yellow, a colour that I cannot wear, so reluctantly I shall be returning this shirt. I like the long cuffs turned back (as it was displayed in the branch where I bought it). The shape is great over slim trousers. I’d like to exchange it for he thin blue stripe one, but it’s out of stock in my size and I can’t see where I can request to be told when it becomes available.

a great addition to my summer wardrobe. It is mostly linen, a modern and bold shape that drew lots of compliments. Well done M&S just bring out more of the same.

Pretty colour, nice fabric and a very useful addition to hot weather wardrobe. Also, thank you Marks & Spencer's for sending me a linen item which does not look like someone slept in it already !! XX
