Bootleg Trousers

The bottoms are more like wide fit, way too flappy around the ankles, had to send them back

Loved the material so much better than usual. However, I agree with many other customers, they are much too long, the pockets make you look very lumpy and the bootlegs are at least 5inches larger than other bootleg trousers I have purchase from M & S. Please sort out your sizing. I ordered one pair in black and one pair in navy, and as I am only 5'3" tall ordered the short length, even with heels they are still too long for me. I wish I did not have to return them but I do.

Item being returned. I have been a 16 Medium in M&S trousers for as long as is reasonable to remember and these are way too long. Please be consistent in your sizing, otherwise it's a waste of time buying online. Nice material though!

I got this for the missus to go along with a new blazer after her first choice proved to be way to small in the waist. This looked great, perfect around the waist but it was a good couple of inches or so longer in the leg length than expected compared to other trousers she had gotten from Marks and Sparks. They weren't even the tall size, just the regular length and she's quite tall, 5'8" without any shoes on, even with heels these were to long.

These were a good fit and reasonable quality but the bottoms were too "flappy" and seemed too wide for the trouser.

I love my new bootleg trousers.

Am so happy with these that I ordered another pair. Good quality material and they came out of the bag ready to wear - absolutely no creasing. Impossible to find trousers in NZ or Australia that fit both my waist and my hips and are long enough.

I do not normally like bootleg trousers but thought I'd try them. They fit really well and, although they have side pockets (which I hate), they do not stick out like some. I am 5' 10" and the long length are perfect for me and a good fit overall, so much so, that I bought a brown pair to add to the black.

Material feels lovely and trousers hang well. I love the colour and had looked hard to find a nice chocolate brown. I am almost 5'10'' and length for once is great on me and smaller waist suits me too so I am delighted. I agree with others in that they are much wider than normal bootleg & are more like flared trousers- would have preferred more bootleg. Also, pockets do bulge and are unnecessary as I don't know any women that use pockets on trousers for storage. Please listen M&S as this is not the only trousers I have bought from you with this problem.

These trousers are a really nice material and they were a perfect fit for me. I usually have difficulty getting trousers to fit properly, however unfortunately they were just too wide at the foot. Disappointing but I really liked them otherwise.

These are very well made and looked good until I tried them on. They were baggy all over, and the excessively wide flair made me look distinctly tubby! The quality is very good, but sadly I've had to return them.

Lovely fabric, been looking for something similar for some time as I don't particularly like a lot of stretch in dress pants. These are made of a crepe like material and a bit dressier than the usual M&S trousers. The only issue I have with them is the pockets - why do you insist on putting pockets in women's trousers, they just bag out when seated and spoil the sleek shape across the hips. I don't know any lady who puts things in trouser pockets - that's a man's habit and spoils the shape of an otherwise lovely garment.

Bought these because the colour was just what I was looking for, however too wide at bottom of leg. The wide fit Per Una trousers fitted perfectly and had belt tabs just what I like but it only came in black!!! Why don't M&S do a choice of colours in a particular style? Do they think they know better than their customers - no wonder women are going elsewhere for their clothes -as I will be doing! Think about it M&S!!

These looked great when I unwrapped them but were a real disappointment on. They are rather too clingy around the thigh and wider than expected at the ankle and the pockets gape somewhat. Had to return them. I'd ordered another bootleg style at half the price as an option to try on and ended up keeping them as they're a much nicer trouser! Real pity as while finding black trousers are easy enough I was keen on the chocolate colour (had ordered both).
