I love the color and fit but the material doesn’t have the typical BY luxury feel. The zippers are light weight plastic so hard to find and use with gloves. It must be 100% polyester and polyester fill because it doesn’t breathe AT ALL. Great outside, but then I’m sweating to death on the subway or in the grocery. Was hoping to replace my Patagonia with this because it’s so beautiful but doesn’t work for daily wear.

Was going to buy a down jacket but tried this on for fun in the store and loved how comfy it felt. Keeps me cozy warm-I do live in SoCal but plan on trying it out skiing. It is a shorter jacket so if new to skiing you may want a longer jacket. Like the thumb holes also and also that it is machine washable. A keeper for me!
