Bath Elixir

Presented in a striking glass bottle this bath elixir would make a lovely present. Smells good and has a skin softening effect.

Bought this as an Xmas gift, and the recipient loved it. Looked an ecpensive bottle.

Great bottle and bath gel really rich and softens the skin

Last time I bought the royal jelly bath elixir it was in a modest, inoffensive plastic bottle. Now it's the same lovely-smelling bath foam, but in a huge, chunky glass container that, together with product, weighs 1.2kg! I know plastic isn't great, but surely it can't be more environmentally friendly, in terms of materials and energy, to manufacture and transport this enormous lump of glass? Way too much for a mass market product - it's not all about 'value for money'. Yes you can reuse it, though M&S don't currently do refills (any anyway what would they come in - plastic that's probably about the same environmental footprint as the original bottle!). Apart from which, the weight and awkward shape feels like it'd be difficult to hold in wet, slippery hands. I dread to think what would happen if it fell in your enamel bath, or on your lovely tiles, or somebody's toes. I don't even know where to store it, it's so big and heavy. I'll be sticking flowers in it when it's empty, wouldn't want it anywhere near my bathroom!

Have not used yet , although have purchased this product over the years and it is always good. Even better is the lovely, heavy glass decanter which will last and will be refilled many times.
