Not waterproof

Bought these (Rex Park) for my 2 year old. Unfortunately, unlike the ones we had last year (Rex Play), they are not waterproof. They have a nubuck top which lets in the water. I wasn’t expecting them to stand up to splashing in puddles (he has wellies for that) but I did expect them to keep his feet dry running around the garden with a bit of morning dew on the ground, and was disappointed that his feet got wet.

Bought these last years and was so disappointed. Had 5 other 5 pairs from clarks previously but none had any issues. These ones were horribly scuffed in less than 2 weeks, the leather just came off as a foil on the top. Went to the shop and said there is nothing they can do. I would avoid

Nice soles, good shoes, my daughter loves them. The only thing I don’t like are the straps, they are quite short and difficult for a 3yrs old to put them on herself

I bought these for my three year old and they initially looked lovely and fitted really well. However, after wearing them just once, the front was torn to threads and had started peeling off like paper. If it is leather (as it says it is) it must be incredibly thin. Sadly these are not at all durable and not up to Clarks usual quality. Which, considering how much they cost, is very disappointing

I bought these shoes for my 3½ y/o for pre-School. He has been using them for Pre-School and the 5 min walk each way. The front is all frayed. The quality does not warrant the price as I sure the shoes will not last past December.

Not as waterproof as I would have hoped! My son has extra wide feet and I cannot find a single pair of wellies to fit. I bought these as an alternative but didn’t hold up well when out dog walking. There is a huge gap in the market for children with extra wide feet and wellies!

Good quality shoes. The toe strap is tricky to tighten fully and the heel of the shoe rolls a little when i put them on my son (a common problem). The soles can be slippy on wet surfaces (metal or rubber surfaces for example). They are great shoes, i am just highlighting tiny issues which might annoy a parent over time :)
