I've been looking at this set for a while. and once it came up in the sale I made my purchase.( I Couldn't justify spending £70 !) The ribbed edging is just enough to make a difference to the average white crockery set. Used everyday and so far and not chipped Very pleased with my purchase

Surprised items passed M & S quality control. Nearly all items had a defect. Needed the dining set to replace well worn one as Husband is miserable when it comes to spending money. Too heavy to return for refund.

Really pleased with my new dinner service, bought to replace my old M & S crickery that must be nearing twenty years old and still in pretty good condition considering its used every day. The plates on the new set are a little smaller but not a bad thing when contemplating portion control. I bought two sets as they were on offer at the time of purchase.
