Window Pane Checked Straight Leg Trousers

I absolutely love these trousers,perfect fit,will enjoy wearing them.

The quality and pattern on the fabric were lovely. The fit on the body / top of the leg was fine - then it all goes wrong. The problem seems to be that the trousers have been tapered on the outside of the leg which gives the appearance of the leg being twisted from the mid thigh downwards. Also I think it would have been better not to have pressed a crease into the trouser leg as there is a check pattern on the fabric and the crease did not match up with the pattern - it looked like 'tram lines' running down the front of the trousers. It's a shame as otherwise the trousers would have been an excellent buy - especially nice to see that the body of the trousers was not too low cut and gave a nice shapely silhouette.

Loved the matching top and trousers in windowpane check until I discovered the trousers matching the top were only available in slim leg. I need straight leg otherwise I look like a wannabe teenager. So disappointing!

I was disappointed with these trousers as the fit was very snug. Other trousers I have purchased in my size (14) have been perfect. Why can M&S not get the sizing of its ladies wear right? Size of clothes should be the same right across all the ranges M&S sells & not be a matter of 'pot luck'. This is not the first time I have had problems with fit.

Just what I had been looking for! Perfect fit - good length and slightly stretchy material is very comfortable to wear. Liked the grey check so much that I also bought the navy. Thank you M & S - these will be a great investment this season.

A good pair of trousers for cold days. However I find that the medium trousers are too long and the short trousers too short for me. I have to buy medium and turn them up. Never used to have this problem.

I haven't had the opportunity to wear my new trousers yet so have only been able to try them on. They fit very well and look very smart and stylish . They also feel very comfortable so I won't have to keep adjusting them when walking or sitting. I look forward to wearing them. The style will compliment any wearer of all ages.

Love the style. Will look great on the golf course as well as about town. I feel very stylish wearing them.

These are beautiful trousers, soft material and comfortable. Fit well. Only reason for returning them was because the straight leg was too wide for my liking.

Lovely style and woolly material, good length but the fit around the bum is a little tight, however, the next size up would be too big on the waist. Make sure you try before you buy.
