Wide Fit Wedge Heel Closed Toe Espadrilles

I thought that I had found exactly what I wanted and was looking forward to receiving my parcel. But what a disappointment it was to find that the shoes were so poorly designed at the front. The gap between my foot and the front of the shoe was huge! It allowed my foot to slip about on the sole and could have been dangerous given the higher wedge heel. The colour and material were lovely. Sadly they had to be returned.

Loved these shoes, only wore them in good weather, so still look neat and tidy on first impressions. Very disappointed that both shoes have split across the sole underneath making them un-wearable. I've bought another pair, as they were so comfy, I'm hoping that it was just a one-off bad pair.

I buy at least 1 pair of these every year and wear them to death. Bought wide fit as others were out of stock and went down a half size. Fit perfectly. Very comfy.

Normally take E fitting shoes so thought these would be fine, wrong! The width of the bed of the shoe matches the width of my feet perfectly but there is far too much material in the front/top: in my case it leaves a gap above my foot large enough to accommodate three fingers. Had the front extended back to where my foot arches it would probably been OK but it doesn't and Espadrilles shouldn't. Looks wrong. The designers need to take another look. Regretfully returned...

I ordered these on line as I thought they looked nice to go with my new blue jeans . Unfortunately they were most uncomfortable to walk in so had to return them . The price was excellent but the fit was not quite right for me .

I spotted these in my local M&S, they looked comfortable and fitted well, and at £19.50 who could resist? High heels can be uncomfortable but wedges are usually comfortable and easy to walk in.

I love these so much I bought 3 pairs and then my mum bought them too. So comfortable,, my feet don't get sweaty. They do get a bit scruffy on the sides of the soles but they are more of a casual shoe so I can handle that for the price (the rope ends fray and come a bit loose but nothing major yet).

Impressed with the look. Shoe itself fits well but the instep strap is a little tight - I do have very high insteps - so I hope the elastic on the side will stretch. I am keeping them.

Lovely comfortable sandals, unfortunately they are too wide for me so will have to return them. Shame M&S do not do them in a non wide fitting.

I was looking for a pair of sandals and saw these. Looked good for the price and fitted well. Very comfortable. Excellent price.

This is the first time i have been disappointed with an M&S purchase. The fabric inside the shoes are made of cheap plastic so your toes rub on them when walking and not only do they squeak but the plastic material rubbed my nail polish off. They need to be made of a soft fabric as are my other espadrilles. Also the woven fabric on the heel had also undone which i have glued. Definitely not value for money or the usual fantastic purchases i have made from M&S in the past.

I bought these shoes in red as they go with so many coloured outfits. I bought them with the 20% off which made them an excellent buy although they had sold out of my size 5. Because the shoe was a wide fitting, I opted for the size 4 1/2 and they fitted perfectly. Love these shoes!!

I originally wanted these in black but they were completely sold out so when I saw they had them in stock in navy I decided to buy a pair and they are so comfortable, I only wish I had bought them in every colour!!

I bought these shoes for our holidays, I wanted something with a bit of a heel but not too high that they would hurt when in a hot climate. These fit the bill perfectly.
