Poor quality
No, I don't recommend this
I bought this along with the blue colour shirt in December 2019. I've bought M & S shirts for years and have never felt they've been anything but a quality product. This however fails and is a disappointment. I've worn this and the other shirt 3 times and they have been washed and ironed 3 times. The seams around the shoulder have separated and have started to fray. It appears to me that not enough material was used when the seam was made. I've never experienced this with any other shirt I've bought and appears to be a manufacturing problem and not just a one off as both shirts are showing the same fraying.

Really good fit
Yes, I recommend this
I was worried that the shirt might be either too big or too tight. I didn’t really know what “tailored fit” meant but presumed it wouldn’t be slim fitting. As it turns out the fit is perfect for my husband who normally takes a large size in sweaters and t shirts. I got him size 17 collar. He likes the quality as well as the fit.
