Bulbs last no time at all
No, I don't recommend this
We bought this light fitting and had it installed in mid April by an electrician. Since then, we have had to replace bulbs 12 times. Given it's been summer and we haven't had the light on more than 6-8 hours a day maximum, this is not impressive. The replacement bulbs claim to have a life of 3000 hours. Nowhere near.

Great for lower ceilings

We live in a bungalow, which comes with low ceilings. It's fair to say the height won't be higher than 8 foot, which causes difficulties for tall people and dangling light fittings. This is close to the ceiling and stylish too. My husband is not an electrician, but found it easy to fit. We bought a second on to go in our hallway. We are both impressed with the new look we now have.

Very stylish light fitting, bought two for hall and landing. Nice and bright. The only criticism is, three of the bulbs have had to be replaced in one of the fittings within a week. The fittings were easily fitted by the electrician.

Love this light, bought with 20% discount, which looks fab on my landing. The only comment I have to make is that the 6 glass shades make the fitting very heavy. For this reason, I asked a qualified electrician to install it, which he did without encountering any problems.
