Tent fabric!

This is noisy when it moves and is very much like wearing a tent, both in the size of it and the fabric. Nice colour but sadly returning (also reminiscent of shell suit material!)

I thought I was going to love this dress, but when it arrived I realised the fabric is awful! And when I tried it on, it was worse!!! Not flattering at all, the skirt is too full, and the fabric is unattractive and uncomfortable, very different from the look in the photo, shame!

This dress fits true to size & I anticipate using it doing the winter with jumpers under it, as well as the summer. The material feels a little stiff, but will probably soften after washing. I was a little disappointed that the dress appears to crease easily, but maybe it will be better on wearing.

Surprisingly comfortable fabric, the drape and sheen reminds me of taffeta silk. The bodice is lined but still feels very airy (it’s over 30C!). Length is almost maxi on me at 5’2”. Washes well, drys in a flash, and still looks great after being stuffed in an overnight bag.
