Slim Fit Ultimate Chinos

Bought the cheaper chinos and liked them, bought the Ultimate chinos and found they don’t have a double belt loop at the back where the cheap one’s do, dissatisfied.

Great fit and feel..very well made..good stuff..even pockets are have been given a thought

Having purchased Slim Ultimate Chinos in other colours (this is my 4th pair) I think says it all. Comfortable stretch material. Good safety pocket with zip. Quality product in my humble opinion.

These have just become my favorite trousers. Unfortunately I bought two cheaper pairs too but should have paid the extra and bought these instead. Very, very comfy indeed. Thick but flexible material. Nice colours too.

Have bought several pairs of chinos from M&S over the time but these are a step up in quality and fit and the little hidden side zipper pocket is a boon for a safe wallet during the holiday period.

Bought these chinos for my husband, they are the only ones I could fine that actually fit him length wise and around the waist, I’ve bought him another two pairs in different colours and he can wear them for smart or casual . I would recommend these chinos to my friends and family

Look, these are still good quality chinos. However the material isn’t the same weight as they used to be. The ultimate chinos of days gone by used a heavy weight cotton which flirted with a work trouser sensibility, putting on those chinos felt reassuring. The fabric also moved and behaved differently owing to its thickness, the quality was evident just by looking at them. The latest ones are more lightweight, less work trouser more office trouser. They’re also £5 more expensive, so I’ve paid more money for an inferior version in my opinion. They’re still very nice chinos, but with a lower quality fabric and a higher price tag they’re incomparable to the chinos they have replaced.
