Pure Linen Straight Leg Trousers

Bit tight round the middle but maybe that's me, kept them anyway now where did I leave that slimfast?

These trousers are just right for summer, very comfortable with a nice light feel to the linen, I am very happy with my purchase.

Read reviews before purchasing this product, they were a bit mixed but decided to take a chance. Overall I am pleased with the colour even though I was looking for a blue linen trouser. I purchased a size 12, I have put on some summer weight - too many ice creams! As the reviews mentioned they do come up on the large size but being a summer trouser I didn't want them too tight. Overall I am pleased but time will tell if they last a few seasons or not as the material is not the quality I would expect from M&S. Please can we have some nice linen trousers that aren't too wide in the leg (not all of us ladies and tall and slim), and in good basic colours, white, navy, black, khaki etc. I would then buy them all and my summer wardrobe would be complete.

I ordered these trousers in my usual size (14) and was disappointed to find they were too big in every respect - waist, hips, leg length and length from groin to waist. While I was expecting them to be a loose fit, I think I would have had to drop two sizes to ensure a proper fit - felt like I was wearing a clown's pyjamas! Sadly these have been returned.

The style and quality of these are nice but the fit is awful. They were very small on the waist and billowy in a very unflattering way in the legs. Not at all like M&S usual sizing

While the trousers are v good, I would warn tall women (like me) that the long length isn't very long - I'd say a 32 inside leg at best. Fortunately, there is spare material that I could take down to make them fit.

I like these trousers but couldn't, get any in a short size. I bought them in size regular and shortened them slightly and they are now a good fit. They are comfortable and a nice colour and I would recommend them to others.

I was pleased to find a pair of linen trousers that have belt loops and not an elasticated waist or tie belt. I have a small waist compared to my hips and I would say these are ideal if you are pear shaped like me as they are quite generous in the bottom and thigh without being baggy, although they do loosen up as you wear them. The grey was nice as it's modern and being quite dark is slimming. I thought they were a bit on the expensive side but I was just relieved to find something of summer weight that fits. I'm 5'2" and the short length pair were borderline too short but the medium were just a tiny bit too long so I stuck to the short as I usually wear fairly flat shoes. I just hope they don't shrink.

Not impressed with the quality of these trousers.....they went straight back without even trying on!

I ordered these online in my usual size, but ended up returning them and re-ordering them a size smaller, as I could tell that they were going to relax into being much too loose, especially around the waist. Ordering them a size down seems to have done the trick: they definitely got looser over the first day's wear, and I still wouldn't want to carry anything too heavy in the pockets! But they're extremely comfortable (I felt like I was wearing pyjamas all day, in the best possible way!), and I anticipate getting a lot of wear out of them in warmer weather.

These trousers are more wide-leg than straight, and the medium length is not as described on the size guide, i.e. should be 31", but only 30" on my tape measure, and too short for me. The fabric seems nice, but as I haven't washed them can't comment on the easy-iron. I am afraid mine are going back.

I bought these in the mauve colour as well but as they creased so badly, even for linen, I sent these slate ones back before it was too late. Very disappointed as I've had great trouble trying to find classic cut linen trousers this year.

Bought these but not sure regarding the length short seems to short but if I get medium length its to long puts me off buying trousers from m/s
